As a new resident to Lake Monticello and new to the state of Virginia I would like to share with you the reasons I chose Jimmy French as my realtor.
Mr French is very professional and listened to my needs, likes and desires of the home I was looking for. He was very patient in assisting me to first, find the right area for my needs as location was as important as the home itself. He was very flexable, as I was living toward Lynchburg and flew frquently for my job; he always had time to show me homes at timings that were convenient for me. His knowledge of Charlottesville was evident in his understanding of area specifics that other realtors just wouldn't have knowledge about unless they grew up in the area. My husband and I were very fortunate to have had Jimmy French as our Realtor. The selling of a home and the buying another one is a very stressful time. While my husband and I were going thur that trying time, Jimmy was always there for us. One time especially I will never forget. The dryer hose needed to be reconnected in the house we were selling. It happened to be located in a crawl space under the house with no light and filled with spiders and other insects. Jimmy happened to appear at that moment and without hesitation, he crawled under the house and fixed the problem. I will never forget this kinness. I feel that this act shows the kind of person Jimmy is, caring and going way beynd the extra mile for his clients. I recommend Jimmy highly!

Working with jimmy French was the most pleasant home buying experience I have had, and resulted in a lovely home that I am truly enjoying. This was the fifth home I bought, and with every other purchase there was some part of it that just did not go well. This purchase was harder than the others as I was moving here from another area. My (back then future) colleagues recommended working with jimmy, and I am happy I took their advice.
I was looking to find a house in town, near the university. Jimmy's familiarity with the area was simply incredible. It seemed he knew personally all the houses inside-out from previous years. He understood very quickly what I was looking for, and he selected the houses to look at so well the I bought the third house we looked at! For me this was the quickest ever to find a house. Jimmy was very skillful and accommodating in helping me through the negotiation process. He had excellent suggestions for lenders for best rates, which helped in getting lenders to compete, and resulted inthe best possible rate at the time. We had a quick settlement date, which we did meet. That was in part due to Jimmy's thoughtfulness and doing everything without a moment of delay. His kind and pleasant personality, of coarse, adds to having a great home purchasing experience.
